Roald Dahl Day!

Wednesday 13th September was Roald Dahl day where we celebrated his 101st birthday! To celebrate the day we dressed up as our favourite Roald Dahl characters and talked to our friends about our favourite Roald Dahl books. It was great to see so many of the boys and girls in our class dressing up as characters from our class novel 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' everyone looked fantastic!

Later on we got to take part in an extra special activity of making Mr Wonka's delicious Liquid Chocolate!! We melted bars of cooking chocolate and added milk to make it more frothy, our mouths watered while we waited for the chocolate to melt. Once it was ready we poured the chocolate into our cups and added lots of marshmallows and flakes for decoration. They looked delicious and tasted even more delicious!!

What a fantastic, fun and delicious day we had celebrating Roald Dahl day!😀
