P5 & 6 Visit Linen Museum, Lisburn
Today the children went to the Linen Museum in Lisburn, they had a fun busy day discovering all about the journey from flax to linen. The children got creative and designed their own friendship bracelet using the method of weaving, they next discovered how natural products were used to dye materials in the past (we were very shocked π± to discover some of the things they used). We finished our visit with an active learning session where we used props to act out the journey of flax to linen.
Many thanks π to all the guides and our parent helpers who made our first trip in P5 & 6 very enjoyable!
A fun day was had by all!
