Topic Work in P3
Our new topic this term is ‘Plants and growing’. Today the children were busy outside weeding and turning over the soil in the beds before they planted some herbs in the outdoor garden. There were lots of opportunities to discuss the different smells and textures of the herbs. They planted Rosemary, Chives, Mint, Thyme and Oregano. They were all very proud of how fabulous their herb bed now looks and smells. 🪴
We are especially looking forward to harvesting the fruit from our strawberry plant. ðŸ“ðŸ“ðŸ“😋. Later this week the children will be sowing some pumpkin, squash and broad beans seeds. We are curious to see how they will grow over the next few weeks.
