P3/4 Visit Castle Espie

Although it was a cold Spring morning the children had a great day out visiting Castle Espie as part of their bird topic work.

John our guide brought us to the duck 🦆 pond where the children had an opportunity to feed the ducks.

We ventured further afield next to the bird hide, armed with our binoculars to get a closer look at the birds on Strangford Lough.

Finally we were able to explore the park before heading back in to the centre.
