Little Stars have Green Fingers
2nd Oct 2017
In April 2017, our Little Stars planted some potato seeds, in tyres, in their playground. They watered them regularly and watched them grow. Over the summer holidays they continued to grow and the children returned to school to find a mass of green leaves. This meant they were ready to be dug up. With spades at the ready, our Little Stars dug up their potatoes to find that they had grown very big. They washed them and prepared them to be eaten. With the help of Ms McCormick, the potatoes were peeled, boiled and mashed, ready to be eaten at snack time. Check out our photographs to see us in action.
