Investigating Weight and comparing it to 1kg.

Having discovered last week that non-standard units were not a great way to compare weight. The children were introduced to a 1kg weight and how to use a weighing scale. They all were tasked with bringing an item from home to weigh but first they were asked to predict if their item would be heavier or lighter than 1kg. After using a weighing scale and a digital weighing scale to measure the weight, they then ranked their object in descending weight order from heaviest to lightest. 🏋️‍♀️
