Finding out about words in P3 & 4

The children have been finding out different ways that sounds can be recorded. How words can be changed by adding suffixes and how two words can be joined together to make a compound word. 
They put their new skills to task by searching for these types of words in their reading text and impressed Mrs Hagan with all the words they found. What amazing word knowledge they have. 👏😁👏
