Dance Extravaganza with Jenna. #BeActive Programme DEA Partnership

Local primary school children and our #BeActive senior group members have been enjoying a four week dance programme designed and delivered by Downpatrick, Rowallane and Slieve Croob District Electoral Area Forums (DEA) in partnership with Jenna Finnegan Dance School.

The programme brought together students from Christ the King Primary School, Drumaness, Co Down; St Mary's Primary School Killyleagh; St Patrick's Primary School, Saul along with #BeActive senior group members for a final showcase event at Down Leisure Centre on Friday 7 February 2025.

The initiative aimed to enhance participants’ knowledge and appreciation of different cultures while improving their fitness levels and confidence in dance.
