Coding Week
This week we celebrated coding week with a range of different devices and coding apps. The children in Primary Three, worked together to write a program for EARL to complete avoiding all the hazards that he might come across in the kitchen.
Our Primary 4 & 5 class took to lightbot to programme their bots across the towers. In keeping with their Blue Planet topic, they directed the Sphero bots across the grid to avoid the pollution and save the sea!
The children in Primary 6 & 7 took part in some unplugged coding activities. They created a map of the dragon nursery from our novel ‘How to Train your Dragon’ and created an algorithm to transport Hiccup through the cave to collect his dragon egg whilst avoiding the obstacles!
