All About Sound!

Over the last two weeks we have been learning all about Alexander Graham Bell and his invention of the telephone! Today we moved on to look at sound and how sound is made. We learnt that sound is created from vibrations that travel through the air in sound waves to our ears. We investigated the different kind of sounds musical instruments make and how they are made and what kind of vibrations they make. We then described the sounds and looked at how to create different pitch and different levels of sound. We really enjoyed this!
