Activity Based Learning in P3

We have enjoyed taking on the role of a weather reporter and reporting the daily weather. We adapted the game of snakes and ladders to become rain and rainbows and have had fun competing against each other to see who could reach the highest number first. Our knowledge of weather has been built upon by exploring our topic non-fiction books. In our small world play we retold the story of Noah’s Ark using the props. In our puzzles and games section we completed weather related jigsaw puzzles.  At our science table we investigated how rain is formed, using shaving foam to represent clouds and blue food dye to represent the rain. Our Activity Based learning has been so much fun. ❄️🌧🌦💨
