P4 trip to W5

P4 became structural engineers as they examined the benefits of single span bridges and arch bridges. They designed their own tower, sorted materials into those that could be used for an inside or an outside bridge. They had a competition to build the highest tower using paper bricks.
The children showed that they are aspiring engineers and architects of the future!
The Titanic structure was built in the shape of a star as a memory to the company who built the Titanic, White Star.
A single span bridge. We can make it stronger by moving the slats towards the middle.
