Outdoor Learning
As part of Outdoor Learning Day the children brought their learning outside. Today they developed their skills of working collaboratively whilst completing the activity ‘The Rock’. A flood was headed to the playground and each child had to be securely on the tyre in 2 minutes or they risked being carried away in the flood. Once on the tyre the children had to remain there for 1 minute. This activity helped the children to develop their confidence and responsibility and made the most of their abilities. Good relationships and respect were built for the differences between the children. Thankfully, after a process of trial and error all children managed to stay secure on the tyre and no-one was swept away to sea. ππ
