Memories from our visit to the Beach
The sun certainly shone for Primary One , Two and Three on their visit to the beach.
The P1/2 children dressed for the occassion and brought their buckets and spades with them. They built lots of sandcastles, went on a shell and pebble hunt.
The children of P2/3 transformed into pirates and went on a treasure hunt. Lots of evidence of sea life was found but unfortunately Captain Blackbeard's treasure was not found. The children launched their own pirate ships. Who knows where the ships may dock?
Our day at the beach ended with a delicious ice-cream from Maud's.
Click on galleries to look at all the beach activities the children got up to.
What a great day out we all had and such a great way to end our topic work.
A BIG thank you to all our parent helpers.
