Little Stars Fruit & Vegetable Shop opens for business.

As part of Little Stars new topic, ‘Autumn, Harvest and Halloween’, the children have opened their own fruit and vegetable shop, in their role play area. The children have enjoyed buying and selling their produce, acting as either the shop keeper or a customer. They priced their stock, weighed the vegetables and have very quickly become experts in identifying different fruits and vegetables.  On Monday the children also enjoyed a walk to Little Gem Vegetable Shop and Nisa, in Killyleagh. They arrived with their shopping lists, ready to buy the items they needed to make vegetable soup. Check out our pictures to see what we have been getting up to.
