It doesn’t cost much to clean coins!

Our P6/7 class had a great time investigating how to clean tarnished coins. They used a range of solutions such as Coca-Cola, vinegar, lemon juice, salt water, soy sauce, ketchup and soap to clean their coins. After testing the ph level of their solutions and by comparing before and after photos, the pupils decided that the strong acidic solutions worked best.
